premature withdrawal

Following the folly of dunking my beloved Katoom in a puddle last year, and the pause whilst Snaf kindly managed its resurrection to topdog in the SDTR, I realise my 'involvement' has been so limp u might say I'd withdrawn to lick my wounds. As often is the case of not knowing what you've got til its gone, I realise my withdrawal was premature.

Hence I'm re-introducing myself to the esteem forum as a born-again dirtster. Not that I'll be getting the 530 dirty, you understand. Rather i've been tempted to sell it (it hasn't gone, yet) and restart my quest for the holy grail for a bike that makes me look as accomplished a rider as the mightySuperC - I think it best to underpromise and over deliver.

In the process i can rekindle my passion for impulse buying whatever is flavour of the month.  Based on previous experience it should take me about 3 years to get a bike as good as the 530 is...

I hope to rejoin the thong (throng? ) when it stops raining. 2015 maybe. Meanwhile, it feels good to be back in the land of the non-biking biking forum

You could sell the Harley and buy one of them electric MX bikes. 4k for the bike and 2k for the extension lead.

Not sure who they would fair in deep water and getting your knackers light up by a few volts might make your eyes sting a bit.

Talking of water, has you house floated away yet?

Someone's selling a CRF230 on the DGTRF site. As it's about the only, and best, bike you haven't bought - I'd say give it a go.

Would be quite funny watching you steer with your knees on the pegs and your tootsies a'trailin' behindhmm

CRF230 is too small for a man if my stature (tall & carrying a few extra pounds). As to a classic, pah, your heads gone.

Spoken like a true sheep botherer.

Consider a WR250 Gaz.  It'll be to you like a CRF230 is to us little folk.

Praise the lord, be great to see that bloody recluse clutch thing gone,
even tho I had it explained to me once by Snaf then the dirty ming and finally a pathetic attempt to explain by Peterbc Who barely understands the workings of a saddle, I still don't get it, plus he nearly removed my well used love spuds as I helped his sorry arse out of a snow drift, they nestled on his rear wheel enging running as he wound the throttle on with an evil grin that still haunts me,x

Already feeling like I never left; unfettered endorsement of bikes you've already owned, and then sold!.

On the plus side, I have fond memories of the roostering.

That said, Super, I don't recall any knobbly/bollocks interfacing.
